Garden

This is our Garden so far this summer. Our peas are going great. When they started getting ripe we had to go out every other week to pick them.  Now we are getting a handful or two daily.  Last year we only harvested once maybe twice. We love all the peas this year. 

Last year we planted this little peach tree so this is our first year with fruit. We have 8 peaches that are growing well. The boys want to pick them every day. They do not like having to wait. We will try to share pictures when they are ready to eat.

Our apple tree started out as a bush, so last year we had to cut it way back.  This year it should give us two or three boxes of apples 

We are enjoying a bit of our garden with each meal.  We have peas most nights as a snack before bed.

Pool Party

The last few days have been really hot. We had to be creative to find ways to cool off. These buckets are just the right size for 2 little boys.

The squirt gun was an added bonus. They loved to squirt each other and especially me. 

  

What more could you ask for? It was a great way to entertain us for the afternoon.

Carter is 3

 Here is the Birthday boy. He was so excited. He wanted a peanut butter cake so I made a white cake with chocolate and peanut butter chips. It was great.  

Seth helped me buy and wrap the presents so he was excited for Carter to open them. A few day before Carter's birthday Seth told him what the presents were, but Carter was still excited.

Keenan also got in on the fun. We had a great day and cannot believe that he is 3!

Desiree, Karly and sewed bags and pillow cases for all of the kids. Dallan and Carter who is under the table helped as well.

Painting. These will be bird houses once they dry.

There has even been time to relax.
