Picture Day

I have been needing to take Seth to get his pictures taken but I never took the opportunity. So it was not until I called and made an appointment that we actually went and had them taken.
I wanted Seth to be happy for his picture so that meant that he needed to be well rested and fed. I fed him than gave him a bath so that he would be sweeky-clean and then got him all Dressed except his shoos. I laid him down for a nap at 9:30 because our appointment was not until 11. Usually he only naps for one hour at this time, so this would give me enough time to get to the appointment. It was drawing close to the time and Seth was sleeping like a Doll. I did not want to wake him up but we were going to be late. At 10:45 he started to stir so I knew that I had better get him before he goes back to sleep. We pulled into the parking lot at 10:58. Just enough time to go inside. When I got Seth out of his Car seat I realized that I had forgotten his Shoes. The one thing Thomas told me to remember....THE SHOES. I was not going to go back home or we would be late so the socks would have to do. Good thing they matched his shirt. I am glad that they turned out and Thomas was fine that we did not have the Shoes. They were from DI (nothing against DI) so they would have still had the price on the bottom.

It couldn't get any better

I had Saturday off work this last week, so we decided to go down to St. George for a little fun in the sun. It was not sunny. We had to wear our jackets until noon. Then the sun came out and it was not too bad. After Jennifer ran from store to store, not buying much, we got to go to Carl's Jr. We then hit the mall and kid to kid. Seth got some new levis and new, dark blue, church pants. We then went to DI. The St. George DI is always packed. There were something like 200 people in there. After looking through everything and not finding any goods that we wanted, and not wanting to spend any more money, I found this lovely BYU clock. It is works and only for $2. What a deal! I asked Jennifer, "What kind of a fool would send this to DI?" She figured some old guy died and losers sent all of his stuff to DI. I am grateful to that old man for his sacrifice.

It is rare that I found BYU stuff. Usually I just make my own. Here is picture of our new door mat. It cost $4 at Walmart and then I add that special touch. We needed a mat out front. Our carpets are getting kind of dirty, since I never wipe my feet. Feel free to use the mat, just don't step on the Y.

Since it was Skip's birthday back on the 8th, we wanted to get him something useful. We all know that Skip loves to cook. We have been at his apartment a few times and he has been wearing Amy Jo's apron. He hasn't wanted to wear a flower apron, so he turn the flowers to the inside. It works but looks funny. We found this apron cheap at Walmart and used some paint to personalize it. Using a skip card from phase 10 as my guide you can see that I painted a larger card on the front of the apron. Skip seemed very pleased with it and put it on immediately. He then cooked us up some delicious pork chops. Amy Jo and Skip always treat us to a nice dinner everytime that we visit. We need to return the favor very soon. I hope they like Totino's Pizza.
