Mobile Baby... Sort of.

Yesterday Seth and I had a few hours to ourselves. Jennifer went to the Draper Temple dedication broadcast at the stake center. Seth is close to crawling, but not quite there yet. I try to let him play on the floor as much as possible. A bonus for me is that he can't really move but I get to watch TV and don't have to give him constant attention. He gets up on his hands and knees but does not move. He is able to spin around on his belly and then roll where ever he wants to go. In this picture he has rolled over to my taxes and dumped all the papers out of the envelope. He said that he was just double checking the numbers. This morning he was playing with a stack of old text books that I had next to the closet. So that he did not pull one down on his head, I selected one for him. I gave him my old Individual Income Tax book and he seemed grateful. After flipping though the pages and tasting a few he put it up for later. I think once he realized it was the 2008 edition, he was disappointed. Seth used to hate to be on his belly. If we placed him on his belly he would cry and immediately try to flip over to his back. Now if I sit him up on the floor, he will move to his belly and roll around to get at things. He is starting to get the idea that there is more to play with in this world that just those things his mom and dad put within his reach.

Today Jennifer put Seth down for a nap. When she went in to check on him, he was asleep but had flipped over to his belly. This boy sure does love his tummy time.

Spring Break

We had a week off of school and were able to get a few days off work so we decided to head to Price. We left Cedar Saturday afternoon and returned Tuesday night. Jennifer enjoyed not having to pack my Lunches or worrying about what to fix for dinner. Thanks Mom!!! Mark and Linda were also there for the weekend. Seth was the center of attention the whole time. He also returned home with new clothes. Jennifer sure is a sucker for a SALE and Price is one place to find them. It was nice to be able to just relax for a few days and enjoy a round of golf (on the back 9). Thanks Dad!!!
The rest of Spring Break I worked but we were able to enjoy the evenings without having to get Homework done for the next day. I am involved with the Cub scouts so we attended the Annual Pinewood derby. It was fun to watch the boys race their cars. We even took notes so that we can help Seth be a pinewood derby winner!!!

No More Baby Bathtub

Seth is growing so fast. It is fun to watch as he discovers new things. This is his new favorite thing to do.
He Loves to Play in the tub. He is able to sit up in the tub without falling over. It is so much better then the baby tub.
