This last Monday Thomas had the day off so we decided to take a trip to Zion. We had planned to leave by 7:30 but we did not make it out of the house until 8:45. It was nice to sleep in.
At Zion they have a shuttle system that takes you to all of the different sites you can see. We chose to hike up to Angels landing but we did not make it all the way. We mainly planned to go as far as Walter's Wiggles. It would have been to much to carry Seth all the way to the top.
I stopped and had to waited while Seth and Thomas went up to the wiggles. The heat was just to much and we did not have enough water for the temperature.

This is the picnic that we had just out side the park. We had a squirrel that wanted to eat our food but we scared him away.After lunch we went back into the park. We went to the museum and watched a short film about Zion and its people. We went on one last little trail to see emerald ponds.
We let Seth do some walking and he had a great time.

Back at the bottom we found some shade and removed our shoes for a short time before heading back to the car.
As soon as we were back on the road Seth was out. He had a fun day but was glad to be headed home.
