Circus

This last week the circus came to town. With the circus coupon children got in free, so we decided it would be fun to take Mariah with us to see the show. As the event got closer Amy Jo thought it would be fun to take her boys also. So we all loaded into the car and went to the circus.

We all enjoyed the Clown. The best trick that he did was, he came out with three stuffed animal and was trying to wind them up and get them to move. The first two would not move and he was getting frustrated with them and through them around. The third one was a little Elephant and it started to move. It would walk around the ring them fall over when it got to the back and needed a winding. The clown would then wind it up again and it would do the same thing. He did that a few times and then had the idea that he would wind it up a lot so that it would just go and go and go, but this was too much. The little elephant would just tip over every time the clown would stand it up. The clown even picked it up by its tail and was dragging it back stage. Then he thought that he would open up the elephant and try to fix whatever was wrong. In side he pulled out a little dog. The dog really was trained well to put up with all that the clown was doing to it in the elephant suit. IT WAS AMAZING!!!
We also really like the motorcycles riding in the ball of Death. They had four motorcycles inside at one time. It was really cool.

At intermission we were able to go down into the arena. The children wanted to ride the elephant (or I wanted to) but we just watched the others ride. They were also giving pony rides or you could get your picture taken with a huge yellow snake. Mariah really wanted to get her face painted but they were charging 6 DOLLARS. Thomas could do it for free!!! Throughout the whole circus they were selling concessions and souvenirs, so that was how they were able to let all of the children in for free. They would earn their money by all the things that were for sell.
The Elephants then performed. It was cool to see how strong they are. They had such great balance.

At home we keep the circus going. All of the Children sat still while Thomas painted their faces. Mariah wanted to be a tiger, Weston wanted a pumpkin and Chace was frankenstein. Seth only wanted a clown nose.

We all had a great time and are so glad that the weather has finally warmed up so that we can go outside and play. We hope Mariah learned to have fun without spending all her mother's money.

Thomas you are so known for doing this. Good thing you had Michael to practice on for so long. Looks like it was a blast! I'm sure the kids really enjoyed going with you.
